Praluent PensThe dose of Praluent can be tailored to individual patient characteristics such as baseline LDL-C levels, goal of therapy and response to treatment.1

Lipid levels can be assessed 4 to 8 weeks after treatment initiation or titration, when steady-state LDL-C is usually achieved and strength adjusted accordingly (up-titration or down-titration).1

75 mg, one injection every two weeks
  • Usual starting strength
  • Dose can be increased (‘up-titrated’) if LDL-C target is not achieved

150 mg, one injection every two weeks

  • When a greater LDL-C reduction (>60%) is needed
  • Dose can be decreased to 75 mg (‘down-titrated’) if required

300 mg, two 150 mg injections every four weeks

  • When a greater LDL-C reduction (>60%) is needed
